The Pleasant View Baptist Church Awana program is designed to teach young people truths from God’s Word and the Good News about Jesus Christ. Our clubs and programs make scripture memorization fun and involve parents as well as children!

Journey 9-12th Grade

JOURNEY establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God's Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith. Pleasant View Baptist Church Journey students meet on Tuesdays at 6pm.

Trek 6-8th Grade

TREK for 6th- 8th Graders. The purpose of our Trek program is to help students fall in love with the Bible and with Jesus Christ. The lessons reinforce the truths about Scripture, the Gospel and the Christian life... truths that every junior higher needs to navigate the world they live in. The Trek handbooks include a Scripture verse to memorize and a short daily Bible reading where they can write down their thoughts and insights. The evening consists of small group time where they meet with a trained leader, an energetic game time, and a large group time where the teaching expands on what they have read in their daily devotions.

Truth & Training 3-5th Grade

TRUTH & TRAINING engages third through fifth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace. Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child's knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.

Sparks K-2nd Grade

SPARKS ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids (kindergarten through 2nd grade) to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Sparks clubbers: explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture; memorize Bible verses; and complete handbook activities. The handbooks, combined with Large Group Time, take your child on a journey through the entire Bible!
